In just a few short weeks I’ll be teaching a course in charcoal drawing at the mighty Des Moines Social Club. I can’t tell you how excited I am not only to be working with the DMSC, but to be teaching again.

I do have a small painting group that gathers in my studio from time to time (message me if you’re interested in that), but it’s not the same as actually teaching the nuts and bolts of drawing techniques. I love to work with people who’ve never drawn before or who are unsure about their abilities. There’s nothing like seeing the look of amazement and personal satisfaction on a student’s face when they realize what they’re really capable of. Check out the link below.
