Paranormarchitecture2… The Sequel
It’s been kind of a slow Summer due to some technical difficulties, scheduling conflicts, and an injury that kept me from climbing the four flights of stairs to my studio for a little while. I had grand designs of working on this series of paintings based on some photographical experimentation I’ve been doing. It took me ages to finish the first. I was determined that the second move along a bit more quickly. To that end I switched from using oils on linen to latex house paint on maple panels. The process is… slightly faster. This is the fruit of one afternoon’s labor. While it’s not quite finished we’re pretty darned close. As per my notes from the first go ’round I’m sticking with my first instincts, moving more quickly and definitively, and just leaving it the f**k alone.
Here’s to moving with more speed and assuredness.
Cheers
